Just when you thought that the world was getting its equilibrium back, a day spa in Steamboat Spring is now offering the "Mountain Man Makeover."
"We have lots of guys who want to get a massage and just get cleaned up," says Pam Peretz who owns All Season Wellness in Steamboat Springs. "We thought we'd put together a package that would do just that."
The "Mountain Man Makeover" includes a 60-minute massage or a facial (client's choice), plus a manicure and a pedicure.
"Most men may have had a massage, but not a manicure or a pedicure. We've had a lot of girlfriends and wives booking their man for this package because their nails are a little gnarly. And we've had some guys come in who were getting ready for a date, and even getting married. They want to look their best," said Ms. Peretz.
The entire Mountain Man Makeover takes about 2.5 hours, and runs $149, which represents a significant savings over separately booked services.
"Guys come in here looking a little rough, and walk out cleaned up and feeling a little better about themselves. Even guys like to be pampered a bit. It's not just for the ladies anymore," Ms. Peretz concludes.
