In a sign that the economy might be improving, several spa brands in Colorado have openings for regional manager and massage therapists. But finding the right people has been hard.

The Pamper Group, for example, has openings for Working Regional Manager and Massage therapists in the following markets:

  • Aspen
  • Breckenridge
  • Beaver Creek
  • Steamboat Springs
  • Vail
  • Winter Park

"We're looking to hire a number of great massage therapists and regional managers in some great Colorado mountain towns. This is a real chance to make some money and enjoy a winter on the mountain," commented Pam Peretz, CEO of the Pamper Group. "Our flapship day spa in Steamboat Springs is also hiring for a variety of positions, including nail technicians, estheticians and massage therapists."

But, Ms. Peretz has had a hard time finding the right people. "We're advertising in the local papers and on the Internet", Ms. Peretz laments. "But so far we only have about one quarter of winter staff in place. We're hoping that if anyone knows of licensed massage therapists in Colorado, they would let us know."

Allstar Mobile Massage is a new outcall massage business opening in Aspen, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Steamboat Springs, Vail and Winter Park, and Ms. Peretz estimates that she'll need about thirty therapists to work the season between the various markets. "Hey, these days it's news when someone is looking for thirty people. We're hoping this will help."

If anyone is interested in applying or finding out more information, they can do so at this link.

"These positions should create steady income until at least April, Ms. Peretz comments. "We're hoping that people can grow with us and have a great winter in the mountains as well. It's one thing to go to the mountains for a vacation, it's a totally different experience to actually get to live there for a season. It's a dream for many. I know it was for me."
